What am I like outside of work? I'm glad you asked.
My interests outside of tech are a dynamic mix of agility and strategy, much like the tech I work with. I've rekindled my childhood love for badminton over the past few months, rediscovering the fast-paced rallies and strategic court positioning that drew me to it initially. Simultaneously, I've been captivated by Ultimate Frisbee, a sport I first encountered in college. Seeing my seniors play with such skill and camaraderie inspired me. While I enjoy watching professional badminton matches, it's the thrill of playing and improving my own game, along with the team spirit of Frisbee, that truly resonates with me. Both sports offer unique physical and mental challenges, providing a perfect balance to my tech-focused life.
When I'm not coding, you'll likely find me immersed in music and singing. I enjoy exploring various genres from pop to indie, and often spend my free time practicing vocals or learning new songs. Music has been a creative outlet that helps me relax and express myself outside of the technical world. I occasionally perform at small gatherings with friends and am always looking to improve my range and technique. The emotional connection that music creates is something I find both refreshing and inspiring.
